14 years...

I can't believe how quickly time flies...On Tuesday, The Daddy and I celebrated 14 years of wedded bliss. It doesn't seem like it's been that long. Yet, looking back at all that's happened in that time it seems like a lifetime ago. I am so thankful to have such an amazing man in my life. God must have been thinking of me when he created him. I feel so blessed to be married to my very best friend. We laugh together, love together and play together. Happy Anniversay Mister! I love you to the moon and back!

Aprons-a-plenty

There is just something about aprons that bring me great joy. Especially vintage or homemade aprons. Maybe it's the history behind each one, or the time and love that goes into making one. Here are just a few of my favorites....

So, I've been playing....

My lovely sister and I have decided to open an Etsy store. I am so thrilled about this, yet VERY scared. My sister is amazingly talented. She sews and crafts with ease. Me...well, not-so-much. I'm pretty sure that when God was giving out the creativity gene I was in the bathroom. However, I promised her I would try to come up with some things to add to this new store. Here is my first...It's not good. I was just practicing. I just got a new-to-me sewing machine and have every intention of learning to use it, but until then...I had to hand sew. Ugh!!! At least this gives you some kind of idea of what will be in our Etsy store...only it will look 100times better than this:

It's more than time....

So, I've decided that it is time to lose some weight. In April I had my gallbladder removed and since then I have gained 20lbs. Ugh! I was down to a size that I never would have dreamed being in again. And now, the weight is creeping back on. So, today I took action. I'm so excited to say that I broke down and exercised!!! WOOHOO! I only walked a mile in 20mins, but still that's gotta count for something...right?? Anyhow, I have decided to make Monday my weigh in days and will keep you all posted. In the meantime, I'm trying to find some great recipes that I will be sharing with you before long. Have a recipe you think I should try? Feel free to send me an email bomanpartyof5@live.com!
