Besties!

So, this is the bug with one of her very besties, E. These girls are too cute together. E. is like a sister to my little bug. She adores her. When I think of besties, I think of these two. They are ADDICTED to Littlest Pet Shops and American Girl Dolls. They are infamous for sleep overs and staying up late. I love that they have each other. I hope that their friendship lasts forever!

Hugs to you,

Crazy weather and a fun Spring giveaway

So Friday it was 70 degrees out and today it's freezing rain. What's wrong with this picture?? Oh how I long for the days of flip flops and capri pants.
Well, since the weather is yucky, I am on a blogging adventure. I've been to so many blogs today I can't count. However, I did come across Oopsey Daisy and she is having a fun giveaway. These burlap bunnies are too cute. So, go check it out and become a follower. Her blog is too fun!

Warm hugs,

Grateful

This post is inspired by a fellow blogger. You can read her post here.
It seems sometimes the only time we stop to think about what we are grateful for is around Thanksgiving. So here is my non-Thanksgiving grateful list:
~ I am grateful that God is the center of my life. I have full faith in Jesus Christ and know that someday I will spend eternity with him.
~ I am grateful for my sweet family. It's the most wonderful gift I could have ever received.
~ I am grateful that I have an amazing husband that loves me and our kiddos beyond the shadow of a doubt. He would go to the ends of the earth just to prove it.
~ I am grateful for amazing friends that are there no matter what time, no matter what the issue.
and last but certainly not least...
~ I am grateful for my blogging friends that inspire me to do things that I wouldn't have thought otherwise to do. You are an amazing group of people and touch my life in so many ways. Thank you!

WHat are you grateful for?

A date with The Daddy

It's not very often that The Daddy and I get to have a night out, but his company had a special dinner that we attended last week. It was soooo nice. It was catered by a local greek restaurant that is to die for. This picture isn't the greatest, but it's the only one we've got. So, it will have to do.
Here's to a job well done sweet one! I love you and appreciate all that you do for our family. You are an amazing man and God couldn't have given me a better husband!

{ A new hat...}

Our sweet bug-a-boo needed a new hat. Believe it or not he outgrew his old one. I just love the way it frames his sweet little face. Just thought I would share....

{To the moon, Alice....}

My little man loves all things space and rocket ships. So, to no surprise when he got money for his birthday he bought himself a rocket. We had the big launch yesterday...Complete with a countdown and all. He was thrilled. So, of course, I had to take some pictures. ;-)

{a little lonely...}

I hate Mondays! Not because of the typical reasons, but because I always feel just a little lonely after the weekend with my family is over. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy spending alone time with my bug-a-boo. However, when he is napping, I miss the laughter of the other two. I could go without the fighting, but beggars can't be choosers, right???
As I am typing this, I am counting down the minutes until I see that familiar school bus....when I can hear those running feet and see two smiling faces. Then Monday will not be so bad anymore. At least, not until the next one....
